A friend saw a Facebook post regarding a mobile application named 'Mo kouran - CEB' and asked me if it is a genuine CEB application. I asked my friend to wait for an official communique from the press before proceeding since I did not read nor hear anything about it. My first reaction was to Google the application and I could not find anything except the CEB website. So, I went on the CEB website to learn more about the application.

As you can see, there is a CEB communique on the right.

Since, the Mo Kouran App has been mentioned as a communique on the CEB website, I would say that it is a genuine app. You can find the app on Appstore and Playstore.

Here are some screenshots after I downloaded the App.

If you want to create an account, click on sign up and the app will require 3 authorisations and they are as follows.

If you already have an account, click on sign in and the app will either ask you for a 4-digit in or your fingerprint.

The most interesting feature I found on the app is the guest access. You don't have to sign in to report a power outage and the fault report form is pretty straightforward.

You can also refer to the MoKouran user manual in case you want a step-by-step guide.

There you go! I haven't tested it yet but I think it is a great initiative on behalf of the Central Electricity Board to launch such an App especially during the confinement period.
